The Late Reveal (The 4-Month Void #5)

The Reveal It all started in the month of March.  Okay. I don’t want to be boring. May – I watched all the Harry Potter movies and read all Sen Balan Novels June – I watched all MCU movies and series till date (Canon) July – I started attending Interview August – I got offer in Infosys  September – I am writing this motherfucking post. I started working @ IBM on June 17, 2019. The initial training was very good, and I learned a lot. But I got a project in an app where the main work I did was support. Then I got 3 to 5 months of development work in the middle of 2020. By the end of 2020, I got assigned to analyse the root cause of issues for permanently solving certain issues.  The application I worked on is End to End Flow Management system (EFMS) and its an AT&T application. I joined this project on October 2019 and the end date for me in that project was March 2021. I planned to work on a different project after I completed this one....

This is how Adult Comedies should be done in Tamil (The 4-Month Void #4)

I love adult comedies. It was 2018. I guess. My friend Naveen shared me a video. A guy is speaking vulgar words and it was funny as fuck. And the shock is, it was a Tamil video. It was a rare thing to happen. Tamil YouTube was already boomed and was rising at a study rate during 2016 and 2017. I came to know about Madan Gowri in my 3rd Semester and in 2018, he became a huge success. And other cringe love channels like Mic Set, Unakennappa were also booming. It was around that time, I happened to watch a YouTube channel. It was Plip Plip.  I am a sucker for anything that had adult content. Be it, sex, drugs, or gore. Speaking of gore, I watched a fun gore movie called Braindead on the first week of April. Braindead (1992)     This is a vampirish movie with a lot of gore. Even as I am writing this sentence, the climax gore fest is popping in my mind. This is a kind of gore, where the story is not important, but the gore is. And in ...

THE frustrating write-up series that I am gonna start (Last Days of IBM #1)

End is always the beginning of something new! I love this saying because, in a weird way, it is pessimistically optimistic (well! I said it was a weird one).  And this time around, in my life, I kind of hated this saying. I don’t want it to end. But sometimes, some things have to end to give way for new beginnings. So… It's time to say goodbye to IBM. August 2 It was a normal Monday like any other Monday. Ever since I started doing this work from home, Mondays never felt like a MONDAY!  But that Monday was a different one.  My friends shot a short film that previous week. And the director of that short film, NSK, was working on editing the footage we had shot in a single day. He was in the ending stages of his editing work and asked me to give some ideas on editing. I helped him with the cinematography of that movie and gave him ideas on the script. I am planning on writing about that crazy short film adventure in a separate post but let me focus on this MOTHERFUCKING MON...

Podcast gets the real you out of YOU!!! (The 4-Month Void #3)

Podcast Parithabangal I started April by going to the theatre. Godzilla Vs. Kong had got released in the town and I booked the ticket on a whim. It was the evening show of April 1, 2021. I guess I took sick leave that day to watch that movie. I was too bored to work that day and planned to go to theatres. I was so happy when I heard this movie was playing in the theatres. But the real shock came when I went inside the theatres. I was the only one watching that movie that evening. I booked for the English version and got shocked to realise that I was the only one booked the ticket to see the English version of an English movie. But sooner a couple came and that’s it. They sat behind me and we three watched that movie that evening. Godzilla Vs. Kong (2021) I didn’t expect this movie to be good as I thought it would. It exceeded my expectation. I had watched King Kong movies before, but they didn’t satisfy me. I watched Godzilla animated series in cartoon network as a kid. ...

Ranking of Harry Potter Books

The End This book is my second least favourite book of Harry Potter series (I’ll explain why Deathly Hallows didn’t become my worst HP book while I give the ranking of HP books). I expected Harry’s character to mature a bit after he fucked up because of his recklessness in the last book. But guess what, he was the same and it costed Albus Dumbledore’s life. Okay! That’s a cruel thing to say. But when I read the book, I wanted Dumbledore to live. (It all changed when I read the next book!) And he deserved more respect from Harry. I knew Dumbledore never trusted anyone and all that shit. But Harry should’ve trusted Dumbledore (even though Dumbledore blamed himself in this book. This is mutual respect motherfucker!) And the climax was another tragedy and this time, I didn’t like the tragedy. Mainly because how the final book was set up in the climax of the sixth book. I didn’t want the trio to wander away to find some weird deathly hallows. I wanted them to stay in Hogwart...

And it begins… (The 4-Month Void #2)

And it begins… Mr. H. Potter The Cupboard under the Stairs 4 Privet Drive Little Whinging Surrey  . So! Last Month I posted about the reminiscing my last 4 months. And in that post, I pretty much fanboyed Harry Potter and compared how I related to him and more shit like that. In this post, I guess I’ll do the same but comparing my adult self to Harry Potter (and less fanboying) is what I’ll be doing now. I read all the seven Harry Potter books in exactly 4 weeks (28 days) and took 15 days for reading its short stories. I slow paced myself when I started reading the short stories. After completing the original 7 books and before starting the short stories, I watched all the 8 films of Harry Potter and also 2 of the Fantastic Beasts movies. So, roughly, it all started in the second week of April and ended in the last week of May. I watched very few movies in those 6 weeks as a break. But I didn’t want to extend those breaks for a long amount of time. If I...
