Did you think is it okay to get someone’s love because people always bullied you? Did you think that if you want to be sad, then the others around you should also feel sad? In essence you are just a selfish fuck.

You never blamed yourself for anything. If you can blame your mistakes on someone else, you’d happily do it.

NAVEEN

AFTER PUSHING HIS PHONE INSIDE HIS TIGH JEANS, NAVEEN STARTS RUNNING. WHILE HE RUNS, HE COULDN'T ABLE TO CONTROL HIS EXCITEMENT AND LAUGHS HYSTERICALLY. BY HEARING HIS HYSTERICAL LAUGH, FEW MORE BIRDS FLAPPED IT'S FINGS HARD TO ESCAPE FROM THAT PLACE. NAVEEN SEES THE BIRDS FLYING FROM A TREE TO THE SKY. HE PACE STARTS DEMINISHING AND WITH A HUGE JUMP HE STOPS..

NAVEEN(VOICE OVER)

As if thinking about something, NAVEEN laughed within himself. He feels like the happiest person in the world. He jumps in the air once again.

Naveen is lying on his bed with his hand in his eyes so that he can cover the eyes from the sunlight or any other source of light.

THE CAMERA MOVES FROM THE BED TO THE CHAIR AND THE TABLE

WHERE THE TABLE HAS A LOT OF PAPER WITH AN INK BOTTLE AT THE CORNER.

Naveen drags the chair and shits on the chair. He picks the

pen and rotates it in between his fingers thinking about something. Then he stopped rotating the pen and started writing in the piece of paper in front of him.

6. EXT. A FOREST - EVENING - MOMENTS LATER

The forest is dense with trees. NAVEEN sees ahead and notices the sunlight. Before going there, he stops and opens his bag again. He takes a bottle of water and drinks it till the water level becomes half. He once again grabs some items from the bag. This time, he grabs another water bottle which is full of water and then the same speaker he checked back when we left his house. He notices the speaker closely now and his mouth widens to form a grin. He places both the items in his back and starts to walk.

He reached the sunlight zone and looks around him. He can see

the fields full of crops. When he saw what's ahead, the voice of his friend, SENDRAAYAN echoed inside his mind.

SENDRAAYAN

It's been one year since NAVEEN heard those words. The story still excites him. He sees the small mountain ahead of him.

NAVEEN

NAVEEN sits in a rock and admires the beauty of the evening sun and takes a biscuit packet from his bag and eats the biscuits slowly. Then he rolls the packet and keeps it inside the bag. After drinking the remaining half of his first water bottle, he looks down one more time but time he looks like searching something. Then he finds a house that is barely visible by the trees covering it.

But its definitely an house and with a satisfying smile, he starts climbing down.

7. INT. NAVEEN'S ROOM - DAY - MOMENTS EARLIER

A SHOT OF THE EMPTY LOCKED ROOM

NAVEEN opens the door from the outside. He carries a lunch box in his hand and closes the door as soon as he enters his room. He keeps the lunch box in the table near the unwritten pieces of paper. Then he grabs an old back of his and keeps the lunch box inside it.

Then he opens the door once again and goes outside. After a

few minutes later, he comes inside the room once again and closes the door as soon as he enters inside his room. This time, he carries some clothes. He folds the clothes neatly and places the clothes inside the bag.

He sits on the bed and watches the time. Then he lay on the

bed and closes his eyes.

8. EXT. A FOREST - EVENING - MOMENTS LATER

NAVEEN successfully climbes down the small mountain and walks ahead. This time his pace is a little faster. When he reaches the area with a lot of trees, he could able to see the house.

His pace gets faster by the minute and he is running now. The

house is an old house and the doors were opened widely. The evening is going to go away giving its permission for the night to enter. There is little amount of light. He went inside and switched on the lights. But the lights didn't work.

He then opens his bag and takes out a candle and a match box.

He lits the candle and it brightens the room a bit.

After keeping the bag on the floor, he grabs a towel from his opened bag and starts removing his shirt and his jeans pant. He covers the bottom half of his body with the towel and heads outside. He sees a tap. He hopes he would get some water. When he turns the tap, for a few second, a gush of air came out and suddenly, water starts coming out of it. He places his towel on a nearby rock and sits under the tap. And he enjoys the cold water thats hitting on his face.

9. INT. NAVEEN'S ROOM - DAY - MOMENTS EARLIER

NAVEEN comes inside the room. He is carrying a speaker in his hands. He keeps the speaker on the bed and jumps to see the ceiling. Then he reaches the floor of the ceiling and grabs something. Then he picks up the speaker and twists it, it breaks and he keeps the thing he took from the ceiling inside the speaker.

Then he goes outside and places the speaker inside the bag.

After that he goes to the toilet and freshes him up. He grabs the towel inside the bathroom. He comes to the hall and places the towel inside the bag. Then he picks up the bag and turns to face the kitchen.

NAVEEN

10. INT. THE ROOM IN THE FOREST - EVENING - MOMENTS LATER

NAVEEN brushes his hair with the towel and goes inside the house. Then he takes the speaker out from the bag and twists it. It breaks and the a small folded paper falls to the floor. He repairs the speaker back to its original form and connects it to his phone. He plays Twisted Nerve by Bernard Herman from his phone and closes his eyes.

NAVEEEN's head starts to move to the rhythm of the tune and

then he opens his eyes. He takes the lunch box and the other water bottle from the bag and stats eating the lunch his mother had made for him.

When he finished eating, the song ends.

He drinks the water from the water bottle and opens the folded paper. Then he puts the content inside the folded paper to his mouth and once again drinks the water.

His mouth widens to a smile.

Then he takes his phone and plays a Tamil folk song.

NAVEEN dances.

NAVEEN laughs.

NAVEEN jumps.

NAVEEN spits blood.

NAVEEN collapses.

NAVEEN closes his eyes.

NAVEEN is dead.

EPILOGUE

11. INT. HOSPITAL - DAY

NAVEEN opens his eyes. His mother looks at him in shocks. Then she smiles and cries at the same time. Then she comes near him and kisses him on his cheeks and forhead. On hearing her cry, his father enters the room and sits besides him.

NAVEEN'S MOTHER

Naa poi Doctor ah kooptu vandhudren. Ivana paathukonga.

NAVEEN's Father looked him and NAVEEN looked back at his father without any expression. Then his father opened his mouth.

NAVEEN'S FATHER

His father now takes his gaze from NAVEEN and looks at the window behind him.

NAVEEN opens his eyes. To his surpise, he sees his three closest friends.

It is a beautiful Saturday Morning. NAVEEN is scrambling the eggs when he hears his phone ringing. He simmers the stove and goes to the hall where he picks up his phone, walking towards the kitchen.

NAVEEN

Sollunga Ravi!

(waits till the speaker from the other ends stops.)

the call. He sighs and goes to the bathroom. He splashes the water on his face and looks straight in the mirror. He didn't save for the last few months and his beard had grown stranger. He brushes his beard with his hands and pinches both the ends of his moustache.

Again his phone rings. This time it is SHARMILA.

It feels really awkward. NAVEEN couldn't able to think of a

single thing to say to her. Then as if thinking about something, he opens his mouth.

This time NAVEEN meant it. Then she stood up and dressed quickly. NAVEEN stood up too and called and booked a cab.

NAVEEN

PRIYADARSHINI

Thank you.

She went near the door and turned to look at NAVEEN one last time. She then grabbed him and kissed him once more. He could taste saltiness in her lips. When he opened his eyes, he realised that she is crying.

PRIYADARSHINI

Naama chinna pullaingalaave irundhurukalaam. Illa?

Before NAVEEN could answer, she turned back and went outside fastly. At that moment, NAVEEN knew that he was never going to meet her anymore in his life. He knew how she felt and he too accepted it. He closed the door and grabbed his phone.

That room smelled of Priyadarshini.

He looked at his wallpaper one last time. It was the photo he and she took at the top of the hill. He changed it back to a black color and threw away his phone. He went to the bathroom and looked his face in the mirror.

He cried.

He cried hard like he had never cried. He realised that this time, he and she had really broke up and it started sinking inside him. He felt a huge pain in the middle of his chest, like someone cutting his chest into two.

He cried for another few minutes and washed his face in his

washbasin.

NAVEEN was in a cathartic state. He felt numb.

He lied down on the floor and switched the speaker on. He then played "Ennulle by Illayaraja" and closed his eyes.

A series of events flashed in his mind. His father beating

him up because he couldn't able to write a single alphabet in english, then the naked image of his friend Guberan. At last the kiss she gave him at the top of the mountain. Then how Priya enjoyed her food on that night.

A tear drop left NAVEEN's right eye and his mouth widened to

form a smile. He smiled heartly. As the song went on, NAVEEN started to levitate up and entered into a world of trance.

October 31, 1990 - Priyadarshini Born

February 17, 1991 - Naveen Born

Sometime in 1996 - Naveen's father lost his job. His mother goes to a job. Also Naveen got slapped by his father for not writing the alphabets.

February 17, 2001 - Naveen and Priyadarshini speaks for the first time. They are studying fifth standard at that time. They have seen each other from the start of the fifth Standard (It had started in June, 2007) and yet, they never spoken to each other till February, 2008 (which is nearly 8 months)

Somewhere between this period, Priyadarshini hit her Puberty.

It would be when they were studing 9th standard. (which is like sometime in 2004)

October 31, 2005 - Priyadarshini's 15th Birthday and the day

when Naveen's and Priyadarshini's first biggest fight got ended. They were both studying 10th standard during this time.

August 01, 2007 - Naveen and Priyadharshini both joined the

same college in Chennai. Naveen meets Sendraayan (AKA Mookan), Guberan and Vellaisaamy.

July 10, 2009 - Naveen, Sendraayan and Vellaisaamy found the

secret about Guberan.

December 31, 2009 and January 1, 2010 - Both Naveen and Priyadarshini had started trekking on the new year's eve and reached the top of the mountain on New year. (where they had their First Kiss)

January 13, 2011 - Naveen and his friends visits the

Thevidiya Kulam and nearly escapes from the police.

February 14, 2011 - Naveen and Priyadarshini spends time in the beach.

March 24, 2012 - It was Sendraayan's Birthday. It was the day

Naveen had fought with his friends. He went straight to his room and packed his things. The next week he had semester study holidays and after that he had to come and write his semesters. All the four of them had already settled the rent and was about to vacate the house by the end of this month. But now, he didn't wanted to stay there any more. They all had already sent the big items to their respective homes.

They only had their clothes and their travel bag. Naveen packed his bag and left the house for the last time and took a bus to his hometown.

March 25,2012 - Naveen fought with his parents and his father

slapped him. It was the night when Priyadarshini and Naveen had had their first beer and unknowingly sent a mail with the scripts that Naveen had written in the recent years to Ravi Shankar - a popular director.
