Dravidian Otaku's First Year Anniversary

 

It’s been a year since I started writing my blog!

I had completed reading the first book of Twilight book series. I had my Netflix subscription back then and watched a lot of movies and series in the month of January 2020. Since it’s the beginning of a new year, I wanted to record all the movies and series I would be watching. So, I created an excel sheet to record it. Then suddenly, I lost interest in recording it.

This happens always to me. I would never stick to something for a long time ever before. But then I started reading Twilight and it did something to me. Watching a 2 hours movie is one thing but, reading a book for a week is another thing. It would transport you to a world you’d never experienced before. This may feel like exaggerating but, trust me, you have to feel it to know it.

I wanted to say something about it. So, I created to a blog to review the movies or series I have watched and books that I would read. Initially I had help from Baka Sama. He started writing reviews in Tamil but lost interest as usual. It felt like writing the generic review of films like most people do.

That’s when asked Baka Sama to step over and I started to write my own content.

I created this blog to review movies, anime, and books. But later it just evolved into how a blog supposed to be written.

To Put it simply, I started using my blog as a personal diary to record the events I have experienced.

Whenever I watch an anime/movie/series and read some manga/books, I started writing about it. It felt complete. It felt like I am recording my life in a good way.

அதுவும் இல்லாம February ஒரு அருமையான மாசம்.

எனக்கு புடிச்ச மாசமும் கூட!

எனக்கு பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாடுறது எப்போயுமே புடிக்காத விஷயம். என்னதான் இந்த மாசத்துல என் பிறந்த நாள் வந்தாலும், Februaryய எனக்கு புடிகிறதுக்கு இன்னொரு காரணமும் இருக்கு.

ரகசியம்

எனக்கு இந்த மாசம் புடிக்கிறதுக்கு முக்கியமான காரணம் - என்னோட ரகசியங்கள உருவாக்குன மாசம், இந்த February மாசம்.  ஒரு Nostalgiaவ எப்போயுமே இந்த மாசம் எனக்கு ஏற்படுத்தும். அந்த ரகசியங்கள வெளிய சொல்ல முடியாது. அத மறக்கவும் முடியாது. இது ஒரு மூட நம்பிக்கைன்னு கூட சொல்லலாம். நாத்திகனா இருந்து இதய  நா நம்பமாட்டேன். இருந்தாலும் நம்ம நினைவுகள கிடத்துர மாசம்ன்னு நா Februaryய பாக்குறேன். உதாரணத்துக்கு, சின்ன வயசுல நமக்கு நடந்த ஆமானுஷ்ய விஷயங்கல்லாம் பொய்ன்னு தெறிஞ்சும் அத ரசிக்கிறது இல்லயா? அந்த மாதிரி!

இந்த Blogஉம் Februaryல தான் ஆரம்பிச்சேன். எந்த விஷயத்துலயும் ஒத்தாம இருக்கற நான், Blog எழுதுறதுல இப்டி ஒரு வருஷம் பண்ணிட்டு இருப்பேன்ன்னு நா மொதல்ல நினைக்கல. என்னதான் Dravidian Otaku கூதியான எனக்கு புடிகாட்டியும், அவனும் நானும் சேந்து எழுதுற இந்த Blog எனக்கு ரொம்ப புடிக்கும்.  இன்னும் நிறைய எழுதலாம்ன்னு தோணுது. ஆனா இப்போதைக்கு இது போதும்.

I hope this wont end like this. Even though I write this blog for myself, and its something of a secret, I do share this to some of my friends. They used to read it whenever they can, and I just wanted to thank them.
