  Coming back from the memory lane to the secrets of February I wanted to tell this story because it had a connection to the secrets of February.  February is not only a month of the occurrences of surprising event. From 2016 February to 2021 February, my temperament, and my attitude towards anything evolved. I did things that I never thought I would in each February. Of course, it will be a secret though. **laughs hysterically** After that night, I had many home sick nights. One time, I cried hard in front of the hostel warden and asked me to go to my home. It was a Saturday and my Vice principal didn’t allow me to go to my home. Later I cried my lungs outs to get the permission from the warden. Surprisingly I didn’t cry after that incident. I started enjoying my weekends and my home sick was leaving me day by day. I hated the hostel life, but I loved my friends.   February is a month of surprises. I don’t believe in luck or fate. But I like the concept of it. So, when I say, February is a month of surprises, I don’t believe it’s because of an act of god or something. It’s just that I am exaggerating about it. And it’s making a lot of weird and awesome memories. So, why not think about it as some magic. **My inner atheist cries** I never thought about these kinds of events in my childhood. It all started after I have joined the college. I have my birthday on February. It’s my first birthday where I was spending it away from my parents. It was the first time I had ever stayed alone. I had tried staying alone in my 8 th Standard. Its not even alone, I had gone to one of my friend’s house for vacation. It only lasted 3 days. I started crying at the night of the 2 nd day. Then one of his relatives brought me back to my home. Then during my 10 th grade annual holidays, I stayed with my brother (my Big Dad’s son) and it didn’t last for

  A Slow Start (My Escapisms in January 2021)   Books I have read in January It was November or October of 2020, I guess. I was ordering a lot of Tamil books in Panuval website at that time. I had saved some money and started ordering books. At that time, I had ordered two books related to Sex and one novel by Vairamuthu. Then I heard the announcement of Soorarai Potru releasing in Amazon Prime. I planned to read the book first and then watching the movie. So, the next day, I ordered Tamil Version of Simply Fly வானமே எல்லை in panuval. It was a 400 rupees book with 400+ pages, I guess. To avoid the delivery charges, I needed to order another book of 100 rupees or more. Because in panual, if we order books which totals more than 500 rupees, we don’t have to pay the delivery charges. So, on a whim, I picked a small novel. A short novel/novella (more like an autobiography) written by a woman named Bama . I haven’t read any Tamil book written by a woman before. Come to think of it
